NEED

A company specializing in industrial air treatment systems wanted to take a decisive step in its digital transformation: to give new value to the data generated by its machinery.
Until that point, the data remained confined within the PLCs, neither easily accessible nor usable.

Reporting to customers was a manual and time-consuming process, with the risk of errors and delays.

The need was clear: digitalize the plants, collect data in a structured way, and transform it into useful, immediate, and secure information.

SOLUTION REALIZED

We developed an edge-to-cloud system capable of continuously connecting industrial plants to the cloud:

  • At the edge dedicated software collects data from PLCs and pre-processes it massively, filtering and normalizing the information;
  • In the Azure cloud, the data is stored in a structured way, ready for analysis and consultation;
  • A centralized web app allows managing the plants, accessing historical data, and scheduling automatic reporting for customers;
  • The project is designed with the future in mind: the database already paves the way for predictive analytics, smart maintenance, and proactive support.
